Holy Cross

Today at Holy Cross
Holy Cross Chapel of Ease is the daughter church of the Parish of St. Theodore.
Services are held weekly at 8.30 a.m. (except first Sunday of month when all meet in the Parish Church) and there are approximately 40 people who regularly attend over a month.

The Church is used for baptisms and funerals, both arising from and indicating strong familial connections and affection for the church which is also licensed for weddings.
Due to Holy Cross being the oldest church in Port Talbot (as distinct from Aberavon & Margam) schools also visit it as part of their curriculum studies
One hundred years on from from restoration that brought the church back from deriliction the parish again faces the need for restoration work if Holy Cross Chapel of Ease is to survive as a building. A minimum of £50,000.00 is required for work to be undertaken on both the exterior and interior.
